For over 19 years my approach to assisting Sellers and Buyers has not changed. Real Estate is a fascinating business with all its ups and downs, and changes with technology. Bottom line it still boils down to serving the clients needs. As taught to me by my father years ago we need to listen to what the client wants, in order to help them achieve their goal. It’s not just about getting your sign in their lawn, it’s about getting the client were they want or need to be. Part of this process is making sure the client is well educated on all the factors involved and providing them with professional advice and care along the way.
Over time being a resident in four different Chicagoland communities and developing a wide network of business acquaintances and friends. My services in Real Estate have taken me from as far north as Antioch to as far south as Kankakee, even serving clients in the Galena area and countless communities in between. My clients have benefitted from my analytical approach to Real Estate helping save them money and time.

Real Estate is not your typical 9-5 industry. Understanding this I have learned throughout the years on how to adapt to my client’s needs. At the same time always keeping up with the industry trends and education needed to best to serve my clients.
Of course in my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, and friends. Hobbies I enjoy include motorcycle riding, archery, martial arts, all outdoor sports, and photography, while taking my motorcycle trips.

Dear Bill, thank you for helping us sell our mothers home in Niles. After first speaking to a few other Realtors we were very happy our friend referred us to you. You took the time to listen to our situation and then laid out a complete plan for us on was what to follow. We hadn’t bought or sold a home in over 40 years. Your patience and understanding made us feel completely comfortable throughout the whole process, especially the way the real estate market is today. Thank you so much.

This was something the other Realtor did not bring to my attention and wasted 4 months of my time & money. Your assistance and knowledge was also greatly appreciated on my new condo in the city. You made the whole process fun and relaxing. Thanks Again.
Bill, thank you so much for helping my wife and I get closer to the grandkids, our new home in Huntley is perfect, and much more convenient. We also appreciated your services on the sale of our Elk Grove home. Your professional advice to the market helped us get out before too much more equity was lost in our home. We would have never been able to make the move. I’ll be happy to tell all my friends and family members and recommend your services.

Mr. Ehlers, you efforts and professionalism in the sale of my home of 45 years in Morton Grove was truly appreciated. I commend you, and your ability to be sensitive to the fact that this was our home; however I truly appreciated your insight as to the buyers’ attitudes when they are out looking to buy. This insight helped tremendously, you see this was a very emotional time for me, and you helped bring it all together. I am now enjoying good quality time with my grandkids here in Ohio, and couldn’t have done it without you. Thanks again
Bill, thanks for all your help. When first referred to you honestly I wasn’t sure. I thought what does this guy know about farms in Galena? Sure I figured you could sell my home, but helping us buy a farm? After our initial meeting and your explanation of the game plan I was quickly impressed. Karin and I were both very pleased with the research you presented regarding acreage, tillable land, rec land, tax benefits etc. We thought your approach was professional yet down to earth and easy to understand. When negotiating on the farm you always had our best interest at heart and that is what Karin and I truly appreciated. Thank you so much for your efforts. We look forward to sending our friends and relatives to you in the future.
Dear Bill, I would like to thank you for assisting me with my new home purchase in Highland Park. I appreciated the time you took to really understand what I wanted in a house. Of significant help to me was your market value analysis knowledge, which ensured I did not overpay for the home. In my line of work, transfers/relocation are quite common and being able to sell a home in the future is critical. I will definitely recommend you to friends and associates in the future.
Bill, your services on selling our home in Plainfield were outstanding, along with the purchase of our new home. Dear Broker, I write to commend our agent, Bill Ehlers, on the sale of our townhome in Des Plaines. Bill was referred to us by some colleagues. Dear Bill, please note how grateful I am in your representation on the sale of my home in Glenview, the dealings with the city were very challenging and you helped get me through it. I also deeply appreciated your service on helping me find my new home in Northbrook. I couldn’t have done this without you. Thank you for your patience and professionalism. I will recommend you to anyone I know who’s thinking of selling or buying.
Dear Broker, I just purchased a condo with the help of Bill Ehlers. I’m writing to let you know how pleased I was with his service. I know there was not a lot of commission involved on a $71,500 condo, but Bill gave me more attention than the Realtor who we worked with years ago in Evanston when the purchase price was $417,000. His attention to my needs and the evaluation of the numbers was excellent.
Dear Broker, I just wanted to commend you on one of your agents, Bill Ehlers. Bill did an outstanding job working with my ex-husband and me in the sale of our house in Des Plaines. He was very caring and understanding throughout the whole process, however never losing sight of the task at hand. He sold our house in six days, for near the asking price. This allowed both of us to move on with less stress and headaches than we expected.
*Send me your feedback, I would love to know your thoughts on my services.
When’s the best time to sell a home? When’s the best time to buy a house?
For years these two questions have been asked on almost every appointment I’ve gone on. The answer to each truly depends on what the client is wishing or trying to do. My response to both is simple, “It’s when you are ready”. When a seller of buyer is ready, a complete look at the market should be evaluated to see if the conditions are appropriate for what the client wishes to accomplish.
